The sunflower seeds added to our granolas not only create texture but pack a nutritional punch of vitamin E and magnesium. Vitamin E is a fat soluble antioxidant and has a significant anti-inflammatory effect, and magnesium is necessary for healthy bones and energy production. Sunflower seeds are also a great source of protein, they make the perfect snack!
We use non-GMO sunflower oil to give our granolas a longer shelf life, than other oils would allow. The great thing about sunflower oil is that it has a neutral taste so it allows the flavours of the other ingredients (like the quinoa and seeds) to come through.
